RHS FP Edinburgh Annual Dinner 2024

The Royal Scots Club hosted the RHS Edinburgh FP Club’s 2024 Annual Dinner . Club President Russell Ogg chaired the evening, with the guest speaker being Lee Ann Cockburn (RHS leaving year 1986). Lee was the subject of one of our recent ‘modern’ biographies, and given her occupation as an Edinburgh Police inspector (and part-time detective thriller author), and her soubriquet of ‘Trunchbull’, she could be expected to be lively (and was). We were also entertained by a very young school fiddle band, marshalled as ever by June Nelson. The photo gallery shown below hopefully shows all attendees at what was a splendid evening, and includes an ‘end of an era’ photo of the Rector with her four deputes. The evening also acted as a swansong for Kate Fraser, recently elected the to the Headship of Boroughmuir School in Edinburgh. We wish her well in her new role, but she will be sadly missed at school.
